The Saw Doctors
The Saw Doctors formed in Tuam, County Galway, in 1986 around songwriters Leo Moran and Davy Carton, mixing Irish folk instrumentation with straightforward rock arrangements. Their single 'I Useta Lover' became the biggest-selling single in Irish chart history, and steady touring across Ireland and the UK built a wider following.
