Wolf Alice are an English rock band that formed in London in 2010 as an acoustic duo of Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie, expanding to a four-piece in 2012 with the addition of Joel Amey and Theo Ellis. The band took its name from an Angela Carter short story.

Their sound moved from folk-tinged pop toward heavier alternative and indie rock, incorporating dream pop and shoegaze textures. Visions of a Life (2017) won the Mercury Prize, and Blue Weekend (2021) became their first UK number-one album; the band also won the Brit Award for British Group in 2022.
