Official 2026 dates had not been published as of 30 July. Alexander Nevsky Square hosts a major tree and seasonal programme, but it should not be presented as the single location for Sofia’s Christmas markets.

What the latest official season showed
Sofia Municipality’s 2025 programme placed Sofia Christmas Fest at NDK from 21 November to 28 December and the German market in City Garden from 14 November to 21 December. Those dates explain the usual pattern but are not 2026 confirmations.
Check the municipality’s culture news before travelling; locations and neighbourhood bazaars can change between editions.
