El Cyprus Rally trae la emoción del automovilismo internacional a la isla en octubre, con algunos de los mejores pilotos de rally compitiendo en tramos de grava por diversos terrenos chipriotas.
Organizado por la Cyprus Automobile Association con sede en Nicosia, la 52ª edición continúa una larga tradición de recorridos desafiantes y competencia a alta velocidad. El evento de tres días atrae a aficionados al rally de toda Europa para ver a pilotos expertos navegar los variados paisajes y condiciones de las carreteras de Chipre.
El rally muestra tanto a competidores internacionales como a talento local, ofreciendo a los espectadores la oportunidad de presenciar la acción del automovilismo profesional de cerca a lo largo de tramos accesibles y puntos de observación. The FIA calendar lists it for 23–25 October 2026. The competitive stages are on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, according to the Cyprus Automobile Association's 2026 calendar.
The detailed 2026 itinerary has not been published yet. In 2024 the format was a Friday-evening ceremonial start in central Nicosia, six gravel stages on Saturday, six on Sunday and a ceremonial finish on Makariou Avenue on Sunday at 17:30.
At the official spectator spots published on cyprusrally.com.cy shortly before the event. In 2024 they included the Kapouras picnic area, Asinou, Vrysi tou Petri near Vavatsinia and the jump on the Yeri stage. Without a car, go to the ceremonial start or finish in central Nicosia.
No ticket sales have been announced for 2026, and the 2024 spectator guide listed open roadside viewing points with no ticketing. Check the official site for any 2026 rules.
Not any more. It was a World Rally Championship round from 2000 to 2006 and in 2009. In 2026 it is listed as a round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship.
Nasser Al-Attiyah and Giovanni Bernacchini won the 2024 edition in a Škoda Fabia R5, Al-Attiyah's record ninth Cyprus Rally win. The 2025 rally was cancelled.
In 2024 each special stage closed to traffic three hours before the first car. Arrive early, and don't drive along a stage route to reach your viewing spot.
