Quick answer

Everything is within a short drive of the harbour. A hire car helps for day two; day one is walkable or a couple of short taxis. Prices are adult admission for 2026 — cheapest at the gate, so no need to pre-book entry to the archaeological sites.

Day 1 — Ancient Paphos and the harbour

Start early while it is cool, work through the two archaeological sites, then spend a free afternoon on the harbour and castle. Day 1 entrance fees come to just €9.50.

FAQ

Is 2 days enough for Paphos?
Yes for the highlights — the Archaeological Park, Tombs of the Kings, the harbour and castle, one beach and a sunset at Aphrodite’s Rock. Add a third day for the Akamas peninsula, the Baths of Aphrodite or a wine-village trip inland.
How much are entrance fees in Paphos?
The main sites are cheap: Paphos Archaeological Park €4.50, Tombs of the Kings €2.50, Paphos Castle €2.50, Agios Neophytos Monastery €2. Pafos Zoo is the exception at €18.50. Many of the best things — the harbour, Coral Bay, Aphrodite’s Rock — are free.
Do you need a car in Paphos?
Day one is walkable or a short taxi. For day two (monastery, Coral Bay, Aphrodite’s Rock) a hire car is much easier than buses, which are infrequent between the sites.
