Rovaniemi
Rovaniemi sits on the Arctic Circle at the confluence of the Ounasjoki and Kemijoki rivers, rebuilt after WWII as Lapland's capital and gateway to the Finnish wilderness. It's best known as the official hometown of Santa Claus, with Santa Claus Village straddling the Arctic Circle line just outside town.
