Omatoimista kudontaa

Omatoimista kudontaa is a self-service weaving event at Kinapori Senior Centre / Service Centre in Helsinki, running from 26 October to 1 November 2026. It is meant only for pensioners and unemployed people who hold a service centre card. Two looms are in use: one with a cotton rag warp 50 cm wide and one with a wool warp 75 cm wide. The weaving time is one week, during the opening hours of the service centre. A fee is charged for the warp. The reservation list is kept at the information desk, where paper instructions are also available. More information comes from the volunteer activity instructor on 09 310 52917.
