Lectures au Jardin: Outdoor Storytime in Paris

This summer, the Bibliothèque Drouot brings its collection outdoors for a series of free storytime sessions in the garden of the Mairie du 9. Librarians read tales and sing nursery rhymes in the open air, creating a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of Paris.

Held on select Thursdays from July to August, the event invites children and their families to enjoy literary entertainment surrounded by greenery. In case of rain, the activity moves indoors to the salon Aguado, ensuring the show goes on regardless of weather.

Part of the "Les bibliothèques hors les murs" initiative, this program highlights the city's commitment to bringing culture beyond library walls. It's a charming way to introduce young ones to the joy of reading while enjoying a summer afternoon in a Parisian garden.
