Getting to and around Budapest

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) is well connected to major European hubs with frequent direct flights. The city centre is about 30 minutes from the airport by the 100E express bus or taxi.

The metro, trams and buses cover the main festival venues: Óbuda Island for Sziget, the Castle District for the Wine Festival and the inner-city concert venues in Districts V, VII and IX. A Budapest travel card covers unlimited public transport and is the easiest way to get around during festival weeks.
