Florry and Friendship

Florry, the Philly-bred septet led by Francie Medosch, brings their barn-burning rock sound to Showdown Saloon, blending raw honky-tonk grit with the disarming sincerity of their lo-fi beginnings. Known for their freewheeling chemistry and kinetic live shows, the band has toured with acts like MJ Lenderman and Real Estate, and their 2023 debut *The Holey Bible* earned critical acclaim.

Joining them is Friendship, a Philadelphia-based band whose music spans shambolic guitars, flute pads, and bleary poetry. Their latest album *Caveman Wakes Up* (Merge Records) deepens their expansive take on country music, with songwriter Dan Wriggins' ragged baritone cutting through murky, swirling country-rock songs. Together, these two acts promise a night of heartfelt, high-energy alternative country.
