The Mountain Tour brings Gorillaz to Orlando with Little Simz and Deltron 3030 on the bill. The set is built around The Mountain, the band's ninth studio album, which draws on Indian classical instrumentation and the group's electronic and pop influences. Songs move between English, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba, with lyrics exploring death, grief and the afterlife.
The record was recorded across India, London and elsewhere, inspired by the personal losses of Gorillaz creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The Mountain has already been performed in full, and this tour gives listeners a chance to hear those songs live.
