Swapmeet at Neck of the Woods

Swapmeet, a four-piece band from South Australia, brings their energetic blend of jangle pop, shoegaze, and alt-rock to Neck of the Woods in San Francisco. The group — Venus O’Broin, Joshua Doherty, Maxwell Elphick, and Jack Medlyn — bonded over 90s alternative icons like Pavement and Sonic Youth before crafting their own cathartic sound, showcased in their debut single “I Know!” for indie label Winspear.

Attendees can expect a lively set fueled by fuzzy guitars and buoyant percussion, with the band drawing from their well-received EP, Oxalis. Having already won Emerging Artist & Best Performance at SXSW Sydney and opened for international touring acts across Australia, Swapmeet makes their USA debut with a charismatic live show that fills big clubs.
