Birdland Big Band at Birdland Jazz Club

Every Friday, the Birdland Big Band (BBB) brings a thrilling mix of jazz, funk, Brazilian, Latin, and world music to Birdland Jazz Club. The 16-piece orchestra, led by saxophonist David DeJesus since 2017, delivers a unique sound that keeps audiences coming back for more.

Beyond the core band, weekly guest artists from television bands (like Letterman and SNL) and pop touring acts (such as Rob Thomas and Rod Stewart) drop in to join the fun. The band’s repertoire includes original arrangements and historical works, making each performance a fresh experience.
