Indian Classical Recital: The Mysore Brothers

The Mysore Brothers, violin maestros Dr. Mysore Manjunath and Mysore Nagaraj, bring the Carnatic music tradition of South India to Atlanta. Known for their exceptional artistry and advocacy, they have performed in 55 countries and are recognized as cultural ambassadors by the government of India. They will be joined by Sai Giridhar on mridangam, Giridhar Udupa on ghatam, and Anjaneya Sastry on tabla.

Musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will collaborate with the group for works by Reena Esmail and Dr. Manjunath. This special presentation offers a rare fusion of Indian classical and Western orchestral sounds, set against the backdrop of Atlanta's vibrant cultural scene.
