The Format, the indie rock duo of Nate Ruess and Sam Means, reunites in Omaha with Get Up Kids. The Format's sound blends indie, alternative, punk, and folk, drawing from 1970s pop influences. After forming in 2002 and releasing two studio albums, the band went on hiatus in 2008, returned for a cancelled tour in 2020, and reunited again in 2025 for their third album 'Boycott Heaven'.
