The Front Bottoms in Portland

The Front Bottoms, an American rock band from Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, formed in 2006, are led by vocalist-guitarist Brian Sella and drummer Mat Uychich. For live performances they are joined by touring musicians on guitar, bass and backing vocals.

Their music has been described as rock, indie rock and folk punk, with a lyrical bent that has been placed alongside Midwest emo. Over the years the band toured extensively around the country and released self-recorded material before putting out albums such as Talon of the Hawk and Back on Top.
