Water for Elephants (Touring)

Water for Elephants brings the beloved novel to life on stage, with music and lyrics by PigPen Theatre Co. and a book by Rick Elice. The production debuted on Broadway to mixed reviews but was praised for its visual spectacle and earned seven Tony Award nominations. Now on tour, audiences can experience the circus story under the big top.

Set during the Great Depression, the story follows Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student who joins a traveling circus after a personal tragedy. There, he bonds with an elephant named Rosie and falls for the star performer, Marlena. The musical weaves a tale of love, survival, and circus life, featuring folk-infused songs and spectacular circus acts praised for their production values.
