Writers Night Hosted by Steve Goodie

Since 1986, Sunday Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe has been a cherished Nashville tradition, offering an intimate listening-room experience where up-and-coming songwriters perform three-song sets after earning their spot through an audition. Hosted by local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie, the evening focuses on the craft of songwriting in a setting designed to help artists grow.

Attendees can expect a cozy atmosphere with 18 tables, 8 bar seats, and 8 pew seats, plus additional first-come, first-served pew seating when doors open. Thanks to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), tickets are free with minimal fees, and there is a $15 per seat food and drink minimum.
