Festival Les Traversées du Marais 2026

For its 12th edition, the free festival Les Traversées du Marais takes over 27 cultural institutions and 5 satellite galleries across the Marais district. This year's theme, "Dialogue(s)," weaves together music, dance, literature, visual arts, and encounters, with a special focus on dance and the body through participatory performances, battles, Egyptian street dance, open-air choreographies, and circus-movement hybrids.

Music ranges from jazz to classical, complemented by sound installations. Creative workshops, writing sessions, and participatory experiences round out the program. On Sunday, artists from the Jeune Théâtre National lead a roaming reading performance across multiple festival venues, offering a unique format to discover.
