Alte Bekannte is a German a cappella group that formed in 2017 as the successor band to the Wise Guys. It describes its style as a cappella pop, and its repertoire consists mainly of self-written German-language songs.
After the Wise Guys ended in 2015, Daniel Dickopf, Nils Olfert and Björn Sterzenbach formed a five-voice a cappella band with Ingo Wolfgarten and Clemens Schmuck. The first song appeared on YouTube at the end of 2016, and the debut album Wir sind da! followed in December 2017. Friedemann Petter joined in 2020 as successor to Nils Olfert.
Albums include Wir sind da! (2017, chart position 23), Das Leben ist schön (2019, position 9), Bunte Socken (2020, position 14), Stabil (2023, position 24) and Mehr! (2025). In April 2026 the band announced that it would disband in mid-2027.
