À propos de Hans Gerzlich
Hans Gerzlich is a German cabaret artist and comedian, born on 21 January 1967 in Gelsenkirchen, where he grew up and still lives.
Hans Gerzlich is a German cabaret artist and comedian, born on 21 January 1967 in Gelsenkirchen, where he grew up and still lives. After his Abitur he trained as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant, worked as a clerk and studied economics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He worked in marketing controlling before leaving that job to pursue cabaret.
His early programs, beginning with Bürogeflüster! in 2004, drew on office and working life. He has published books including Geld für alle! (2010) and 50 Shades of Beige (2024), and has appeared on German television programs such as Quatsch Comedy Club, Nightwash and Nuhr im Ersten. His more recent work, including the program Ich hatte mich jünger in Erinnerung, deals with growing older.
Gerzlich's awards include the Münsterländer Kabarettpreis in 2012, the Schwäbischer Kabarettpreis in 2013, the Paulaner Solo+ in 2014, the Bottroper FrechDAX in 2015 and an honorary prize of the Gelsenkirchener Kabarettpreis in 2017. His own website also lists a Christmas-season solo show, Ihr Sünderlein kommet, and ensemble shows with Matthias Brodowy and Ingo Börchers.
