Jen Brister
Jen Brister (born Jennifer Helen Brister, February 9, 1975, in Kingston upon Thames) is a British stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. She studied drama at Middlesex University, where she took one of the UK's first dedicated stand-up comedy courses in the mid-1990s, and gave her first stand-up performance at the King's Head in Crouch End, London, in 1996.

À propos de Jen Brister
Brister has been a regular performer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2006, with shows including Me, My Mum and I, British(ish), Now and Then, Wishful Thinking, The Other One, and Meaningless, and has toured most recently with The Optimist since 2022. She appeared on BBC Two's Live at the Apollo in 2017 and has been a panellist on Mock the Week and QI, as well as supporting Frankie Boyle's 2018 tour.
In 2019 she published the memoir The Other Mother: A Wickedly Honest Parenting Tale for Every Kind of Family with Penguin, and appeared in the 2021 horror film Lair. She has also given a TEDx talk on gender norms in child-rearing.
