À propos de Ohio State Buckeyes Women's Volleyball

The program has made 23 appearances in the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship, reaching the Final Four in 1991 and 1994 and the Elite Eight in 2004 and 2022. Ohio State has won three Big Ten regular-season titles, in 1989, 1991 and 1994. Laura Davis was named National Player of the Year in 1994, and Stacey Gordon shared the honor in 2004; the program has produced 21 All-Americans across 28 All-America selections and six Big Ten Players of the Year.

Jim Stone built the program into a national contender during his tenure as head coach from 1982 to 2007, compiling a 531-294 record with three conference titles and fourteen NCAA tournament berths; Sue Collins had earlier established the team during the 1970s, going 190-88 while the program competed independent of conference affiliation.

Jen Flynn Oldenburg has served as head coach since 2020, leading the Buckeyes to the Sweet Sixteen in consecutive seasons around 2020-2021 and to the Elite Eight in 2022, continuing the program's run of NCAA tournament appearances in recent seasons.
