Skepta
Skepta, born Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jr. in London in 1982 to Nigerian parents, is a grime MC and rapper who began as a DJ on pirate radio in the early 2000s before moving to MCing. He co-founded the grime collective Boy Better Know with his brother Jme in 2006.

His 2016 album Konnichiwa became grime's highest-charting UK release, reaching number two, and won the Mercury Prize the same year. He has also released Ignorance Is Bliss (2019) and collaborated widely, including a feature on A$AP Rocky's "Praise the Lord (Da Shine)," and was awarded a Nigerian chieftaincy title in 2018.
