Kitty, Daisy & Lewis bring their eclectic blend of R&B, blues, soul, punk, and rock and roll to ZMF Freiburg. The British sibling trio are renowned multi-instrumentalists, swapping between guitar, piano, drums, harmonica, banjo, lapsteel, ukulele, and more during their high-energy sets. Their live shows often feature their parents Graeme Durham and Ingrid Weiss on guitar and bass, along with legendary Jamaican trumpeter "Tan Tan" (Eddie Thornton).
With over a quarter of a million records sold worldwide, the band has built a reputation for their vintage analogue sound, recording in their own Durham Sound Studios in Camden Town. They have opened for major acts like Coldplay, Razorlight, and Stereophonics, and have played iconic festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, and Primavera Sound. Their performances are a joyful celebration of roots music, drawing from a deep well of American and West Indian influences.
Attendees can expect a lively, dance-inducing show that spans the band's catalog from their early self-titled album through to Superscope. The Durham siblings' tight harmonies and instrumental prowess create an irresistible vibe that has earned them praise from The Times and appearances on Blue Peter and Live from Daryl's House.
