The performance lasts approximately 3 hours 15 minutes and is for ages 18 and up. The Vienna-based troupe Nesterval makes their Berlin debut with Nestervals Eldorado, a site-specific work developed for Sophiensaele.

The piece centres on queer history in Berlin's Scheunenviertel and around the Sophiensaele during the Nazi dictatorship, inspired by the biographies of gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans people who were systematically persecuted and murdered. It is a production by Nesterval in co-production with Sophiensaele, based on the co-production with brut Wien.
