Cirque du Soleil OVO in Munich

Cirque du Soleil brings its acclaimed insect-themed production OVO to Munich for a single performance. Inspired by the bustling world of insects, the show explores the movement of life through acrobatics, dance, and music. Created by Deborah Colker and featuring a score by Berna Ceppas, OVO transports audiences into a vibrant ecosystem where creatures fly, leap, and crawl.

Attendees can expect a visually stunning spectacle with ten acrobatic acts, including foot juggling by ants, hand balancing by a dragonfly, and aerial straps performed by butterflies. The cast of 54 artists from 16 countries brings to life characters like the Foreigner, Ladybug, and Master Flipo, all set against a colorful stage designed by Gringo Cardia. The show's largest flying act, supported by eighty cables, adds an extra layer of awe.

OVO has been touring since its 2009 premiere in Montréal and continues to captivate audiences worldwide. This Munich date offers a rare chance to experience Cirque du Soleil's unique blend of circus arts and theatrical storytelling in an intimate arena setting.
