Cirque Du Soleil - Ovo in A Coruña

Cirque du Soleil brings its vibrant insect-themed production Ovo to A Coruña for a limited run. Inspired by the world of insects, the show explores the movement of life through flying, leaping, and crawling creatures. The score, composed by Berna Ceppas, draws from Brazilian music, adding a lively soundtrack to the spectacle.

Attendees can expect a colorful cast of characters including Master Flipo, the Foreigner, and Ladybug, alongside ants juggling with their feet, a dragonfly performing hand balancing, and butterflies soaring on aerial straps. The stage design by Gringo Cardia features irregular shapes and a large rear wall, with 24 "firefly eggs" that light up in full color. The show includes ten acrobatic acts, from the flying trapeze to contortion and trampoline work.

Ovo has been touring since its 2009 premiere in Montréal and continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of circus arts and insect-inspired storytelling. This production offers a chance to experience Cirque du Soleil's signature creativity and athleticism in an intimate arena setting.
