Al Pan, Pan – Centro: Hands-On Bread Making in Madrid

Step into the heart of Madrid's Plaza Mayor for a hands-on journey into traditional bread making. Hosted by ASEMAC (the Spanish Association of the Bakery, Pastry and Confectionery Industry), this participatory workshop invites you to knead your own dough just as bakers did centuries ago. The setting is the historic Casa de la Panadería, a former bakery that once supplied the entire city with bread.

Master bakers will guide you through a brief historical talk before providing the ingredients to create your own dough, which you can take home to bake. As a bonus, each participant receives a freshly baked loaf to enjoy on the spot. The activity is free and open to all ages, with timed entry slots every half hour.
