STAGE LAQUE: Lacquer Art Workshop in Paris

This five-day intensive workshop introduces participants to the traditional art of lacquer decoration, including gold leaf application, aventurine effects, and relief techniques. Under the guidance of instructor Clément Peltereau, attendees learn composition basics using motifs they can trace, reproduce, or adapt.

Each participant receives a prepared panel at the start and completes a personal creation by week's end. The small group size—limited to eight people—ensures individual attention. Patience and precision are key as students explore the luminous world of lacquer.

Held at Paris-Ateliers in the 17th arrondissement, the workshop runs daily with a lunch break. Materials to bring include tracing paper, colored pencils, clean glass jars, a cutter, newspaper, and specific brushes (references provided in advance).
