Formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s, the band channels influences from Gram Parsons, the Byrds, and punk into a sound that anticipated the alt-country movement. The current lineup features founding members Sid Griffin and Stephen McCarthy on vocals and guitar, alongside drummer Greg Sowders.
