The Road to the Otherworld: Bus Tour of Lough Gur takes place on 31 October 2026 at Lakeshore Park Kiosk, Lough Gur, Limerick. The bus tour travels through the Lough Gur landscape and covers its archaeology, history and folklore. It focuses on the stories and traditions connected to Samhain. Other events in the programme include a Samhain Scavenger Hunt, the Leaves, Lichens & Little Monsters workshop, an Autumnal Wreath Making workshop, The Folklore, Fables & Legends of Lough Gur, a nineteenth-century séance with Anthony Galvin, and three one-act comedies from the Lough Gur Amateur Dramatic Society at the HoneyFitz Theatre.
