Fête de l'Assomption de Notre-Dame - Żebbuġ

The Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady (Festa Santa Marija) in Żebbuġ, Gozo, runs from Sunday 23 to Monday 24 August 2026, a parish celebration combining faith, culture and community. The parish church anchors the festivities, with processions carrying the statue through the streets, band marches, prayer services and traditional festa decorations across the village.

Families and friends gather to celebrate together, and entry to the festa and public streets is free. It is one of several Marian festas that mark the height of Gozo's summer festa season.
