Weert
Weert is a modest Limburg market town near the Belgian border, with a compact historic centre of squares, churches and everyday shops rather than big sights. It's best known outside the region for Bospop, a large blues-and-rock festival held each July on a wooded festival site just outside town, and for the forests and cycling routes of the surrounding countryside.
