In this exhibition at Galeria Zé dos Bois, Alexandre Estrela presents a series of *Réplicas* connected to his piece *RedSkyFalls*, which is on display at the Portuguese Pavilion during the 2026 Venice Biennale. The central installation features fruit flies—referred to as sentinels—that respond in real time to seismic activity both near and far, using a pre-digital sensitivity.

Visitors can observe these artificial sentinels moving within appropriated logos of the poem-process precursor Wlademir Dias-Pino, reacting in sync with the planet's tremors. The work highlights high-risk seismic events in geographically distant locations, turning the gallery into a live ecosystem of subterranean disturbances.

Curated by Ana Baliza and Ricardo Nicolau, the exhibition offers a unique, contemplative experience that bridges art, science, and natural phenomena. It is a rare opportunity to witness an artwork that literally vibrates with the Earth's movements.
