Lire tous les détails

Caminho do Céu is a gripping theatre production at São Luiz Teatro Municipal, conceived by Rita Cabaço from a text by Juan Mayorga. The play follows a former Red Cross delegate obsessively revisiting the day he visited a concentration camp disguised as a "normal city," searching for a sign he failed to recognize in time. Parallel to this, the meticulous construction of that farce unfolds through a Nazi commander and a Jewish prisoner forced to collaborate.

Attendees can expect an unsettling theatrical game where acting means staying alive, and failure means boarding the next "train to heaven." The cast includes Nídia Roque, Paulo Pinto, Tânia Alves, and ten members of the local community. Performances with audio description are available on 9 and 11 October, and with Portuguese sign language on 4 October.
