The Portuguese Constitutional Court opens its doors to the public with guided tours that explore both the institution's role and the historic Palácio Ratton. Visitors follow a route through the palace's rooms, garden, and library, learning about the court's functions and the building's history.
For younger visitors aged 8 to 12, the tour includes an explanation of fundamental rights and the changes brought by the 25 de Abril revolution. Children can even take part in a mini-plenary session, deciding a case as if they were real judges.
