Gillian Welch and David Rawlings bring their spare, darkly beautiful sound to Washington for a special acoustic tribute to the Grateful Dead. The duo, whose music blends Appalachian, bluegrass, country, and Americana, are known for their ethereal harmonies and minimalist instrumentation.

Welch and Rawlings have earned multiple Grammy Awards, including Best Folk Album for *All the Good Times (Are Past & Gone)* in 2021 and *Woodland* in 2025—making them the only duo to win that award more than once.
