Martin Amini

Martin Amini is a stand-up comedian known for his sharp crowd work and matchmaking interactions, earning him the nickname 'cupid of stand-up comedy'. He draws material from his upbringing as a first-generation child of Bolivian and Iranian immigrants. His comedy has been featured on TruTV's Laff Tracks and at venues like The Kennedy Center.

Amini founded Room 808, an independent comedy club in Washington, D.C., recognized as one of the best comedy clubs in the city. He released his debut special 'I’m Transcending' in 2023, directed by Erik Griffin. Amini has performed internationally and opened for top comedians such as Matt Rife and Andrew Schulz.
