Mount Eerie — the long-running musical project of songwriter and producer Phil Elverum — brings its songs to the Neptune in Seattle’s University District. Elverum, previously the creative force behind the Microphones, has shaped a catalogue that moves between hushed folk and black-metal-tinged rock, with albums such as A Crow Looked at Me, Now Only, and Lost Wisdom Pt. 2. New Issue opens the show.
Live, Elverum’s songs often circle grief and hope, and the intimate Neptune room lets those details land quietly. The venue’s balcony is reached by stairs and ramps only, keeping the experience low-key and neighborhood-scaled.
