Public Image Ltd & Plague Vendor at Neptune Theatre

Public Image Ltd bring their post-punk defiance to Seattle's Neptune Theatre, with Plague Vendor on the bill. Formed by John Lydon after his Sex Pistols exit, the band built an abrasive, bass-heavy sound drawing on dub, noise, progressive rock and disco. Lydon sought a more experimental, anti-rock project, and he has remained the group's only constant member through its frequent line-up changes.

Live, PiL's set draws on the full arc of that catalog, from the raw urgency of the debut to the avant-garde depths of Metal Box, a record often regarded as a cornerstone of the post-punk era.
