Sophie Truax With Special Guest Sasha Cee

Sophie Truax headlines a Valley Bar double bill with special guest Sasha Cee. A Seattle-born, self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Truax builds her set around handmade puppets and sharp comedy—she’s known for turning a bad Tinder date into a puppet and a song—wrapping indie pop around themes of heartbreak, self-doubt, and acceptance. Her EP Can’t Split a Worm pushes that same disarming whimsy into the harder parts of being a person.

Opening the night is Sasha Cee, a Calgary-raised, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and producer who studied at Berklee College of Music. Her lyric-heavy, conversational alt-pop leans on emotional storytelling, wordplay, and quirky, introspective touches. Together the two artists offer a playful yet vulnerable evening of indie pop, with puppets, humour, and plenty of feeling.
