The Midnight Show brings Johnny Franco and His Real Brother Dom to Showdown Saloon, a duo that has found a devoted following in Portland through high-energy performances and a jangly, Brazilian-influenced Americana sound. The brothers — Brazilian-born troubadour Johnny and his real-life brother Dom — lead the late-night bill at the venue on Southeast Powell Boulevard.

Franco's original songwriting, heard on the EP Experience Report #1 and the singles Stay Real & Shelter The Light, mixes distinct vocal stylings with a beat that nods to his Brazilian roots. After selling out previous headline shows in Portland, the pair brings a well-honed, lively set to one of the city's smaller rooms.
