Jason White with Bent String at Treelawn Music Hall

Jason White brings a Cleveland-raised songbook to Treelawn Music Hall. A local singer-songwriter, he has had his songs recorded by artists including Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Old Crow Medicine Show, and he previously led Cleveland bands The Janglers and Jason White and the Dying Breed.

Also on the bill is Bent String, a roots quintet whose mix reaches across early American styles, from early jazz and acoustic blues to roots country. The band is built around the vocals of Kari Ann Rutushin, with a jazz-age swing feel carried by violin, accordion, arch-top guitars and upright bass.
