Lire tous les détails
Portland, Oregon-based singer-songwriter Laura Veirs brings her poetic folk and indie rock to Saint Luke's in Glasgow. Known for collaborations with kd lang, Neko Case, Sufjan Stevens, and The Decemberists, Veirs is touring behind her new album *Temple Songs*—her first in four years and the first she wrote, recorded, and produced entirely on her own. The album is intimate and dreamy, built around intricate fingerstyle guitar and vulnerable vocals.
For this stripped-back live show, Veirs is accompanied only by Karl Blau on electric guitar, allowing the new songs to shine in a raw, unadorned setting. The venue, Saint Luke's, is Glasgow's third oldest church building, dating back to 1836, offering a historic and atmospheric backdrop for an evening of heartfelt songwriting.
