Maná: Vivir Sin Aire Tour in Sacramento

Mana formed in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in the late 1970s under the name Sombrero Verde before settling on their current name -- taken from the Polynesian word for positive energy -- and releasing their debut album, Falta Amor, in 1990. Fronted by vocalist and principal songwriter Fher Olvera alongside drummer Alex Gonzalez, guitarist Sergio Vallin and bassist Juan Calleros, the band became the first rock en espanol act to achieve major international success, and their 1992 album Donde Jugaran los Ninos sold more than eight million copies to become the best-selling Spanish-language rock album ever recorded. Blending hard rock with reggae, calypso and mellower pop textures, Mana has won four Grammys and seven Latin Grammys over a decades-long career, while also running the Selva Negra environmental foundation. The Vivir Sin Aire Tour brings that catalog of anthemic Spanish-language rock to Sacramento on October 10, 2026.
