NIMONA at The Castro Theatre

Presented by Another Planet Entertainment, this screening brings the animated science fantasy adventure *Nimona* to San Francisco's Castro Theatre. Set in a medieval-futuristic kingdom, the film follows a knight framed for a crime he didn't commit; the only person who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona, a shape-shifting teen who might also be a monster he's sworn to kill.

Voices come from Chloë Grace Moretz as Nimona and Riz Ahmed as the disgraced knight, with Eugene Lee Yang, RuPaul Charles, and Indya Moore in supporting roles. The story balances action and humor with a warm-hearted look at identity and acceptance. Rated PG and open to all ages, it's an easy cinematic outing in one of the city's most atmospheric venues.
