Pennywise w/ Angel Du$t

Pennywise formed in Hermosa Beach, California, in 1988 and signed to Epitaph Records, becoming one of the defining bands of the SoCal skate-punk sound alongside labelmates like Bad Religion. Their 1995 album About Time broke the group commercially, and decades on, founding guitarist Fletcher Dragge and drummer Byron McMackin still anchor a live show built on fast, melodic riffs and gang-vocal choruses. Support comes from Angel Du$t, a Baltimore hardcore band formed in 2013 by members of Turnstile and Trapped Under Ice, whose hook-driven take on hardcore (recalling Gorilla Biscuits and Bad Brains) has been credited with helping widen what the genre can sound like; their 2019 record Pretty Buff landed on year-end best-of lists from Kerrang! and Loudwire. Together the two bands span punk's old guard and its more melodic present. Cleveland audiences can expect a high-energy double bill of shouted-along anthems and pit-ready riffs when the tour lands in the city on September 25, 2026.
