Tom Hook & Wendell Brunious at Snug Harbor

An intimate Sunday afternoon of New Orleans jazz unfolds at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro as part of the venue's Happy Hour Concert Series. Pianist Tom Hook, a veteran entertainer whose career spans jazz, rock, and theater, joins forces with trumpeter Wendell Brunious, a celebrated figure in the city's traditional jazz lineage. Together, they offer a relaxed set that captures the warmth and elegance of the local jazz scene.

Brunious, a longtime member and director of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, brings lyrical phrasing and a warm tone that embody the city's musical heritage. Hook, now based in New Orleans, leads his New Orleans All-Stars and is known for his one-man show, Becoming Jelly Roll. The performance is free, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis, and the restaurant opens for dinner after the show.
