Trampled By Turtles with Wild Horses

Bluegrass-influenced folk band Trampled By Turtles from Duluth, Minnesota, bring their high-energy sound to Kansas City. They are joined by Wild Horses for this performance.

Formed in 2003 after frontman Dave Simonett's equipment was stolen, the band embraced acoustic instruments and developed a distinctive fast-paced style blending bluegrass and rock. Their name came from a joke list of suggestions, and they have released ten albums, with three reaching No. 1 on the Billboard bluegrass chart.

Trampled By Turtles have performed at major festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Newport Folk Festival, and have appeared on national television. Their music has been featured in TV shows and films.
